Poor John Travolta Being Accused Of Lurid Sexual Advances Again! This Time It's A Male Masseur.

I just heard that John Travolta is once again being accused of unwanted gay advances. This time apparently, Travolta hired a massage therapist and wanted to engage in sex or in some sort of "I'll jerk-you-off if you jerk-me-off" scenario.

Hasn't Travolta been accused by other guys over the years of sexual harassment or trying to get it on with guys? There's been rumors for years that he's gay. Is he? Honestly, I could care less. If he is, then I fucking feel really bad for him for obvious reasons. I can relate to trying to live your life in a closet. If he's not gay then leave him alone already - enough of the false accusations. What do you all think?

Here's a though... if Travolta is gay and his marriage to Kelly Preston is a sham or scam or whatever the hell you call it, then what would happen if Travolta did a Ricky Martin and came out? I mean just come out and live your life the way you want. I think it would be cool and I'd still go to his movies. Of course I would and of course you would too. I might just respect him even more and in my mind, I might even begin to like his movies.

Here's the article that I read about his latest lawsuit:

I Hope You Get Well Soon Jason Russell

My heart goes out to Jason Russell, the American film and theater director, choreographer, and activist who co-founded Invisible Children, Inc. He is also the director of Kony 2012, a short documentary film that went viral in the beginning of March 2012. The short documentary subject is the African rebel leader Joseph Kony, his war crimes, and the movement to bring him to the International Criminal Court.

Many of you may have heard on the news that Jason had a public meltdown last week out in the streets of San Diego. He was seen, and videoed and then ultimately arrested for running around naked and screaming. Some sources are even saying that he may have been masturbating. I say bullshit! People want to make more of his actions; the media and court of public opinion sensationalize fucking everything! His "people" are saying that Jason was dehydrated, malnourished and sleep deprived. Is that just spin? However, I've been reading online that many different sources are now saying that Jason is a closeted gay man and because of his religious upbringing, is tortured about his homosexuality. That makes me sad. I guess I relate completely except I'm not married (I think he is, and with 2 kids). I relate to how it must feel if he is indeed gay and feeling trapped. I want to say, leave the guy alone. He obviously needs some help, and I hope he gets it. He's a hugely talented man and he's a human being so give him fucking space to deal with whatever it is that he is dealing with.  Respect him and support and love him, regardless of what's going on with him... if he's ill, straight, bi, gay, apple, vegetable or whatever! I'm adding this last part to my blog entry. I just watched the (Jason Russell's) video Kony 2012. I thought it was very well done - but then it should be because Russell is a professional filmmaker. Do I believe every word it say? No, I don't believe every word anyone says unless it's my mom or dad. I also just got a comment from Jorge (see comments below). He wrote and said that Russell and his film are just a scam. Okay Jorge, I've heard that but my mind is open and although there is a possibility that certain aspects of this video may be fake, there is also a good chance that it's based on real facts and truth. Jorge writes in his comment that I am "biased" and care about Jason Russell because he "may be" gay. Jorge, FYI I simply started writing this blog entry today not because of the political ramifications of his film, Kony 2012... I wrote this blog entry because I felt sorry for Jason Russell because he is a human being and he seems to be in some sort of pain.  My bias has nothing to do with his possibility of being gay; it's only that I care about anyone I see hurting! Maybe Jorge you wrote that comment to me because you're biased... could that be possible?

Tyler Clementi Trial Is Underway

I don't know about anyone else but this trial interests me. It makes me angry and sad that this kid, Tyler Clementi was so distraught that it pushed him to jump to his death from the George Washington Bridge back in September, 2010. It's sad on so many levels. I'm sure the roommate, who planned the videotaping of Tyler's evening with his friend/boyfriend, never ever dreamed that this would have happened. Nonetheless, that doesn't right the wrong that took place. It breaks my heart. I wish I could be there for anyone, straight or gay, whose life is so messed up that they feel that death is their only way out. It's not!

Give Kevin Hogan His Job Back!

I just heard about this. Fuck, this is so wrong. Fox News did another "ambush journalism" attack on a well-liked, law abiding teacher from the Boston area. His name is Kevin Hogan. This story is so wrong on every level. Did the asshole reporter from Fox have to ambush the poor guy and sneak up on him as he was doing some shopping? Imagine the fear and distress this poor guy must have felt during that moment and the trauma he had and still had to deal with in the aftermath of all this bullshit.

He's been suspended as the English Dept. Chairman, teacher and coach at one of the best and apparently prestigious high schools in the Boston area. The story is that Kevin Hogan acted in some gay porn - he made a few movies as recently as one year ago. Did he break any laws? No! The guy was doing a great job as an educator and I read that everyone liked him and respected him. Christ, all he was doing was living his life and trying to put anything he may have done in his past (which by the way was not illegal) behind him!

This is Fox New's idea of journalism? Fucking ruin the guys life why don't you!! It's wrong and it is an innocent attack on a guy who is changing his life and his popularity shows that he has been doing a great job at it. Fuck you Fox News and any other trash and bash news organization who practices this kind of "ambush journalism!"

I support you 100% Kevin Hogan. I hope you get your job back! I hope you have the strength and fortitude to hold your head up high and get on with your life, whether you return to that high school or not. I hope this doesn't tear you down and rip you apart! You did nothing wrong!! Lets fucking look inside everyone's closet and examine their pasts and see what we find! We are fucking human beings and we should be allowed to do anything (as long as it isn't illegal and hurtful to anyone) along the way as we grow and mature without having to have it tossed in our face as we move through our life. He is being picked out and punished for no fucking reason except for ratings on a dumb-ass conservative TV station. Stay strong Mr. Hogan! I support you 100%!  I'm sure you're a good man; I still believe that good will always prevail over evil!

Matthew Shepard Remembered

Remembering Matthew Shepard: 13 Years Later

Waymon Hudson
LGBT Rights Activist

The horrific events that took place shortly after midnight on October 7, 1998 went against everything that Matt embodied. Two men, Aaron McKinney and Russell Henderson, led him to a remote area east of Laramie, Wyoming. He was tied to a split-rail fence where the two men severely assaulted him. He was beaten and left to die in the cold of the night. Almost 18 hours later, he was found by a bicyclist who initially mistook him for a scarecrow. Matt died on October 12 at 12:53 a.m. at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado with his family by his side. His memorial service was attended by friends and family from around the world and garnered immense media attention that brought Matt's story to the forefront of the fight against bigotry and hate. The life and death of Matthew Shepard changed the way we talk about, and deal with, hate in America. Since his death, Matt's legacy has challenged and inspired millions of individuals to erase hate in all its forms. Although Matt's life was short, his story continues to have a great impact on young and old alike. His legacy lives on in thousands of people like you who actively fight to replace hate with understanding, compassion and acceptance.

Fran Drescher & Peter Marc Jacobson

Regardless of what anyone thinks, I have always liked Fran Drescher. To this day I still like watching "The Nanny" reruns on Nic at Nite. Call me stupid but mindless comedy and laugher makes me feel good!

Oprah Winfrey will be interviewing her on Friday. The show will feature Drescher and her ex-husband, Peter Marc Jacobson. They collaborated on "The Nanny" the CBC sitcom that is her biggest hit.

They have an intriguing story to share. They were married in 1978, a union that lasted 21 years.  After the divorce, he revealed to her that he is gay. Today, they remain the best of friends, and they have campaigned together for gay rights. Good for you guy! I love seeing how love and respect wins out over differences!

Picasso Sells At Auction For $106.5 Million, A Record For A Work Of Art.

A painting that Picasso created in a single day in March 1932, “Nu au Plateau de Sculpteur (Nude, Green Leaves and Bust),” sold for $106.5 million, a world record auction price for a work of art, at Christie’s Tuesday night. The painting, more than 5 feet by 4 feet, shows Picasso’s mistress Marie-Thérèse Walter, both reclining and as a bust. Picasso’s profile can be discerned in the blue background.

The painting broke the record price for a work of art set in February when a Giacometti sculpture, “Walking Man I,” was sold for $104.3 million at Sotheby’s in London. Bidding for the Picasso lasted 8 minutes and 6 seconds; there were six bidders. Nicholas Hall, an expert at Christie’s, took the winning bid by telephone. He declined to say who he was bidding for.

Everyone is betting on the market’s continued strength, realizing that collectors with money to spend are feeling more secure parking their cash in art than in volatile financial markets. Even so, buyers, no matter how rich, are price conscious and want to think they’re getting a bargain. The idea this season is to keep estimates low enough to encourage bidding.

Eyjafjallajokull Volcano

The ash plume from the unpronounceable Eyjafjallajokull volcano (above, in AP Photo by Brynjar Gaudi) continues to drift across parts of Britain and Northern Europe today. The gritty, abrasive dust can damage aircraft engines and literally grind them to a halt, so the events in Iceland have been canceling airline flights across much of the continent.
