As Hot As Adam Levine? Christina Aguilera - Your Body

Let me begin by saying that I am not a big reality TV viewer. That being said, I started watching The Voice last season, and... I actually like it a lot.

The premise of the show is pretty cool and the judges are all so different yet they mesh really well together. Of course, I like Adam Levine... ALOT! Did you really think I wouldn't? I also like Blake Shelton but not in the same "lustful" way I like Adam! When I write about Adam, forgive the obnoxious overuse of exclamation points. Cee Lo Green is an interesting character. That's my big question; is he really the character he appears to be or is it an act? What's with the cat and the bird? He also reminds me of a freak, uh, kind of... well you know what I mean; don't you? Is it me or does he have a dwarf-like appearance? I don't know; maybe it's my fucking shit TV. God, I want a new 55" Samsung LED flat panel.  But, that's another post for another day. Back to Cee Lo; I wonder if he is straight, gay or somewhere in between. Still, I like him, but just can't figure him out. Maybe that's his charm and key to his success. That leaves me with one last judge... Christina Aguilera. I really like her. She is so fucking hot (almost as hot as Adam) and I like as a total package. I mean her face is gorgeous, her body is phenomenally hot and she just exudes sultry sex! Christina is calm and cool and every bit the superstar that she is.

Anyway, I just saw her new video. Wow, it's hot, the guys are hot and Christina is red hot! Whoever calls her fat is fucking out of their mind! Watch this and see for yourself.

I Hope You Get Well Soon Jason Russell

My heart goes out to Jason Russell, the American film and theater director, choreographer, and activist who co-founded Invisible Children, Inc. He is also the director of Kony 2012, a short documentary film that went viral in the beginning of March 2012. The short documentary subject is the African rebel leader Joseph Kony, his war crimes, and the movement to bring him to the International Criminal Court.

Many of you may have heard on the news that Jason had a public meltdown last week out in the streets of San Diego. He was seen, and videoed and then ultimately arrested for running around naked and screaming. Some sources are even saying that he may have been masturbating. I say bullshit! People want to make more of his actions; the media and court of public opinion sensationalize fucking everything! His "people" are saying that Jason was dehydrated, malnourished and sleep deprived. Is that just spin? However, I've been reading online that many different sources are now saying that Jason is a closeted gay man and because of his religious upbringing, is tortured about his homosexuality. That makes me sad. I guess I relate completely except I'm not married (I think he is, and with 2 kids). I relate to how it must feel if he is indeed gay and feeling trapped. I want to say, leave the guy alone. He obviously needs some help, and I hope he gets it. He's a hugely talented man and he's a human being so give him fucking space to deal with whatever it is that he is dealing with.  Respect him and support and love him, regardless of what's going on with him... if he's ill, straight, bi, gay, apple, vegetable or whatever! I'm adding this last part to my blog entry. I just watched the (Jason Russell's) video Kony 2012. I thought it was very well done - but then it should be because Russell is a professional filmmaker. Do I believe every word it say? No, I don't believe every word anyone says unless it's my mom or dad. I also just got a comment from Jorge (see comments below). He wrote and said that Russell and his film are just a scam. Okay Jorge, I've heard that but my mind is open and although there is a possibility that certain aspects of this video may be fake, there is also a good chance that it's based on real facts and truth. Jorge writes in his comment that I am "biased" and care about Jason Russell because he "may be" gay. Jorge, FYI I simply started writing this blog entry today not because of the political ramifications of his film, Kony 2012... I wrote this blog entry because I felt sorry for Jason Russell because he is a human being and he seems to be in some sort of pain.  My bias has nothing to do with his possibility of being gay; it's only that I care about anyone I see hurting! Maybe Jorge you wrote that comment to me because you're biased... could that be possible?

Whitney Houston: You Will Be Missed Terribly!

It's Sunday morning. Like everyone on the planet, I am shocked and saddened by the tragic lose of the iconic Whitney Houston. From the height of fame to what appears to be the depths of despair and weakness.. it's all so sad. Even though the public has not yet been (officially) informed on how she died, we can only suspect that it was drug related. I can't help but think, and I apologize for even saying this, but was Whitney's charmed life diverted off course and placed on a rough and rocky road the day she met Bobby Brown? Is that unfair to say? Anyway, as I write this blog, the music video (posted below) of perhaps the most perfect song ever sung, "I Will Always Love You" is playing in the background. I can't help be feel the emotions swelling up inside as I write this entry. What can I say, what can anyone say at this point aside from Whitney Houston was perhaps the greatest voice of our generation and her death at the age of 48 is such a waste... so sad and tragic.  She will be missed... She is already missed. Rest in peace Diva, your struggles are over.

1950's Anti-Gay Video. How Far We've Come!

I was looking around on You Tube the other day and I came across this video. I had to post it here on my blog. Wow, it's kinda scary. Amazing, watch and look how far we've all come - check it out!

The Gay Rights Movement. Please Watch This Everyone!

I saw this video on the wall of one of my Facebook friends. I watched it, at first thinking that it was going to be another of the typical "pro gay rights" video's that are out there these days. But, it was different. Different enough in my opinion for me to really notice and place it here on my blog. I hope you will watch it. I hope it moves you as it has moved me. Please feel free to comment.

A Brothers Love & Respect

This is sweet as hell. Just a nice "feel good" story. Republican Craig Stowell became a leader in the fight for marriage equality, standing up for his gay brother Calvin. I also heard today that the State of New Jersey is in the process of attempting again to bring the Gay Marriage bill to the State Legislature. I wish them good luck!

The Weather Penis Video

I saw this video today and thought it was somewhat funny in a juvenile sort of way. Okay, it's very stupid too! That's why I had to post it here. Hey, if it makes you smile for 5 seconds, then it worth taking the time to do so. You've got to admit, great shape! :-)

I'm Proud Of You Hockey Star Gus Johnston.

Aussie Hockey Star Gus Johnston Comes Out

Hockey star Gus Johnston (of Australia's Victoria team) makes history for the country by coming out in a poignant and piercing video blog titled "The Reality of Homophobia In Sport."
While looking point-blank into the camera, the athlete says, "My name is Gus Johnston, I'm a writer, art director, filmmaker and a hockey goalkeeper. I'm also a gay man - and that's something I never thought I would say in such a public forum like this.''
Johnston, who only recently left his position as a goal keeper for the Victorian hockey team, says he regrets coming out after retirement. "I regret immensely that I wasn't strong enough as a leader, that I didn't step up when I was playing and share this about myself."
But his courage is nonetheless worthy of applause, as evident in what Johnston writes in the summary of the video that is quickly going viral: "After many years of competing in hockey at an elite level, I've decided to share my story and experience with homophobia in sport. It's taken me many years to find the strength to share it, but I hope that people find value in hearing it."

Is This What We've Become? No Wonder Everyone Is Fucked Up!

Here is an interesting video I recently saw. So is this what we have all become? How can we all  be happy and functional if we have to abide by all these imposed standards?

My New Buddy Loves This George Michael Song

My new long-distance buddy (from Upstate NY) loves this song. He told me it is his favorite song of all (his) time. So because I really like him, I have listened to the song again. So tell me this... do I also now like this song because George Michael is/was a very talented artist and this song, Father Figure was truly a great song. Or, is it that I really like this new friend of mine and he could have told me that his favorite song was the Theme to Gilligan's Island and I'd most likely would have love that too and posted it here instead? Anywho, here is the song that my buddy Jake loves.  George Michael - Father Figure.

Nice To See All This Love After All These Years!

I saw this video on one of the morning shows this weekend. It cracked me up. It is the innocent home video accidentally made unbeknownst by an elderly married couple sitting in front of their laptop with the webcam running. I believe he is in his mid-80's and his sweet, gum-chewing wife is in her late-70's. They are so awesome together. The video innocently shows this technologically inexperienced couple trying to get the webcam within their new laptop to work. The resulting video, uploaded to YouTube by their granddaughter, is actually quite touching and sweet and full of love and a bit of geriatric humor. Watch how after all these years of marriage, how this man speaks to his wife and vice-versa. This video will warm your heart and give you a good laugh.

If You Haven't Yet Seen This...Lady Gaga's Solo Piano Performance Of "The Edge Of Glory" On Howard Stern's Radio Show.

Here's what I'm thinking. Many people obviously like Lady Gaga (Gaga). They worship her and love her intensely. But then there are others who aren't really into her persona, her message and her music. Many straights for example think, "Gaga appeals to the fags and I'm not a fag so I won't ever listen or acknowledge that I think she is good; let alone, like her!" Anyway, for me, Lady Gaga is a talent. Her look and her songs are cool but I never really considered her as being, "the best" or even a top performer that I related to and liked. Don't get me wrong... her message to kids about being okay to be who you are, gay or straight, different or mainstream is a wonderful thing. That in itself has made her a hero of sorts to me. Here is where I am going with this. I listen to Howard Stern religiously and recently heard her LIVE performance of, "The Edge Of Glory" by Gaga who made a rare, first-time appearance on the radio show. In short - it blew me the fuck away. She is amazing!!!  This performance will give you goosebumps! This performance was live people! Wow, what a voice, what lyrics and what an ability to sound so amazing doing a live morning broadcast while sitting down in a radio studio. That's all I wanted to say. For those of you who have never heard this performance of hers, she did it back on July 18th 2011. Sit back and get ready to be blow away. For those of you who have heard it... well sit back and enjoy it again; over and over and over and over! Gay, straight, old or young - it will effect you! Gaga... I am a fan for life!!
